This full-time position calls for an experienced mechanical engineer eager to work at the University of British Columbia. You'll be involved in creating and testing prototypes for power electronics, focusing on thermal management solutions. Collaboration with a team of experts in electrical and software engineering will be a key part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design mechanical systems for power electronics applications
• Develop and test prototypes to production standards
• Conduct thermal management and testing for cooling systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Requirements:
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in power electronics
• Proficient in 3D CAD and FEA software
• Hands-on machining skills preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
