Become a Counsellor with FIREFLY and support the mental health of children and families across Northwestern Ontario. Provide evidence-informed counselling services in various settings.
This full-time position entails providing individual and group counselling, conducting clinical assessments, and developing tailored intervention strategies. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and deliver services effectively in schools and community locations. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation is essential to meet agency standards while engaging in career development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer individual and group counselling services
• Develop and implement intervention plans
• Work collaboratively with community partners
• Provide services in diverse locations and virtually
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Requirements:
• Required degree in Human Services or equivalent
• Must be a member in good standing with a recognized College
• A current and valid Driver's License is needed
• Knowledge of family dynamics and clinical assessment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
