Bengough Health Centre is seeking a Casual Emergency Medical Technician to enhance community care. This role includes responding to emergencies, assessments, and patient transport every shift.
As a part of the ambulance department, you will respond to both emergency and non-emergent calls. Candidates should possess a Primary Care Paramedic diploma and certifications such as Basic Life Support and International Trauma Life Support. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team while delivering critical care in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
• Assess and treat ill or injured patients
• Transport patients safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
• Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
• Valid Class 4 driver's license
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
• Skills in interpersonal communication and writing
