Join Finning Canada as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and work on an exciting variety of equipment. Based in Fort McMurray, this permanent role features a 7x7 continuous shift rotation.

In this position, you will service and repair construction and small engine equipment as part of the Caterpillar product line. A successful candidate will hold a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification and be able to work independently. Robust organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for effective customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and troubleshoot various Caterpillar equipment
• Conduct diagnostics on compact construction tools
• Complete required technical documentation




• Engage with customers during service tasks
• Work closely with leadership on tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Finished Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification
• Successful class 5 driver’s license with abstract
• Experience in aerial work platforms is preferred
• Familiarity with Caterpillar products is advantageous
• Capability to be fit tested and wear a respirator
