Elevate patient care as a Cardiac Device Technician at BMC Health in Norwood. This full-time role focuses on managing remote pacemaker and ICD transmissions in a patient-centered setting.
You will work alongside Nursing and Cardiovascular Medicine leadership to assist patients with Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs). Key responsibilities include daily reviews of device transmissions, troubleshooting monitoring systems, and communicating effectively with healthcare providers. Your strong communication skills will enhance the team-oriented effort among the medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review remote pacemaker and ICD transmissions daily
• Assist patients with remote monitoring issues
• Collect vital signs and perform 12-lead electrocardiograms
• Notify patients regarding follow-ups and device advisories
• Manage patient scheduling in remote monitoring systems
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• BLS certification necessary
• Two years of experience with cardiac devices
• Completion of a Cardiac Device Educational Program
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
