Job Title: Aircraft Structural TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as an Aircraft Structural Technician, where you will work on the production floor in a dedicated cell focused on building wings for aircraft. You will primarily be responsible for assembling sheet metal wings, which includes riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling the components. Your role will require reading blueprints and completing work orders as tasks are accomplished. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities

Assemble sheet metal wings for aircraft, performing tasks such as riveting, drilling, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling.

Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately.

Complete work orders and ensure documentation is maintained.

Operate within a cell on the production floor, collaborating with team members.

Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors to support production needs.

Aviation and aircraft structural assembly skills.

5+ years of Canadian experience or 10+ years of international experience in aircraft structures.

Proficiency in working with aircraft production assembly, specifically wings, skins, spars, and stringers.

Experience working in jigs and with sheet metal.

Ability to read and understand work orders and blueprints.

Work Environment
The position is located in Northeast Calgary, with a work schedule that offers day shifts from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM,



with potential for an additional 2-3 hours daily. Alternatively, afternoon shifts are available from Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1:30 AM, with possible work on Fridays. The work involves using advanced technologies and equipment in a professional setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.

Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
