Aerotek is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structural Technician to join its production team in Calgary. In this contractor position, you will primarily assemble sheet metal wings using various techniques such as sealing, bonding, and countersinking. The role requires over five years of Canadian experience or ten years internationally in aircraft structures, focusing on exact blueprint reading.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble sheet metal wings through various production techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure task accuracy
• Complete work orders and maintain documentation
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a dedicated cell
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support production
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Canadian aircraft structural experience
• Proficient in sheet metal and aircraft assembly
• Ability to work within production jigs
• Strong understanding of blueprints and work orders
• Experience with wings, skins, spars, and stringers
