Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug Dibenjikewin Onaakonikewin seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk. In this role, you will manage invoicing and vendor communications using Sage Intacct from locations like Thunder Bay or Sioux Lookout.

Reporting directly to the Intermediate Accountant, this position encompasses processing day-to-day payables and maintaining accurate financial documentation. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance while supporting overall financial operations.

Travel to Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify payments for invoices
Monitor vendor relations and address billing discrepancies
Keep accurate financial records for audits
Prepare electronic payments including ACH and checks
Assist with account reconciliation tasks

Requirements:
Accounting certificate or related bachelor's degree is preferred
Entry-level to 2 years accounting experience
Proficient in Sage 300 or Sage Intacct
Experience in child and family services considered an asset
Team-oriented with project management skills
