The Product Owner is the link between product direction and the development team, accountable for maximizing the value the team delivers. The role owns and prioritizes the squad’s backlog, turns requirements into clear user stories, and drives the agile delivery cycle so the right features ship on time and meet customer needs. The Product Owner owns their team’s delivery roadmap and keeps it aligned with the product-line roadmap set by the Director of Products Management and the Product Managers. Working closely with engineering, sales, customer success, operations, and stakeholders across both product lines, the Product Owner is the voice of the customer inside the team and the single point of accountability for what gets built next and whether it is done.

MainResponsibilities:
Own, create, prioritize, andcontinuously refine the backlog for your squad, or where staffing requires formore than one squad, keeping it transparent and aligned with business value andcustomer needs.
Own andmaintain the delivery roadmap for your team / squad (how its work sequencesover the coming sprints and quarters), and keep it aligned with theproduct-line roadmap owned by the Director of Products Management andProduct Managers.
Partnerwith Product Managers across both product lines, and with other stakeholders,to translate product-line priorities into your squad’s backlog, reconcilingcompeting demands and escalating trade-off decisions to the Director of Products Management when needed.
Translatebusiness problems and requirements into clear, concise user stories withwell-defined, testable acceptance criteria.
Prioritizefeatures and backlog items based on business value, customer feedback,technical complexity, and cost.
Leadand participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement,sprint reviews, and retrospectives), providing direction and feedbackthroughout the cycle.
Defineand uphold the Definition of Done with the team; accept or reject completedwork against the agreed acceptance criteria.
Act asthe voice of the customer within the squad: bring in customer feedback andmarket input and anticipate user needs to guide the team proactively.
Contributeyour squad’s piece to cross-team epics and initiatives led by a ProductManager, coordinating dependencies with peer Product Owners to keep deliveryunblocked.
Trackdelivery and product metrics (velocity, scope, adoption) and use data to informprioritization and continuous improvement.
Ensurefeatures are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business andtechnical feasibility.
Supportsales and quoting for your area by validating technical feasibility andsurfacing execution risks, exclusions, and assumptions; scope what a new ornon-standard request would require and its impact on your squad’s deliveryroadmap, and feed that to the Product Manager to inform the product-lineroadmap decision.
Contributeto sales-facing qualification tools and standards where useful, incollaboration with the Product Manager and Director of Products Management.
When asales commitment reshapes the roadmap, see it through to delivery: ensure thesquad delivers on the expectations set during the sales process, providingproduct and component expertise and helping ensure the delivered solutionmatches what was scoped and sold.
Own thedelivery documentation (functional specifications, user stories, and acceptancecriteria)
and your squad’s component release notes; produce and keep accuratethe component documentation (its specs, help / support content, training) thatfeeds the product-line manuals; and treat required documentation as part of theDefinition of Done.
Ensureeach deliverable meets the applicable safety and regulatory requirements, withconformity and documentation complete, before a release or gate ships.
Requirementsand qualifications required :
Bachelor’sdegree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a relatedfield
Three(3) to five (5) years of experience as a Product Owner, or in roles related toproduct management, business analysis, or agile delivery
Experiencein the fields of robotics, automation, manufacturing, or other complextechnical products is a plus
Solidhands-on knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Hands-onexperience with backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Experiencecoordinating dependencies across multiple teams or stakeholders
Technicalfluency sufficient to scope work and collaborate credibly with engineers
Fluencyin English and French
