Lead and support program staff at The Salvation Army as a full time Program Coordinator. This role involves managing daily operations and ensuring high-quality service for shelter clients.

As part of a collaborative management team, you will supervise program staff and engage in effective teamwork. You are expected to ensure safety, crisis intervention, and support for marginalized individuals while adhering to The Salvation Army’s mission and values. Flexibility in scheduling is key, particularly for the evening shifts from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of program staff
• Conduct staff scheduling and ensure coverage
• Facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution




• Review program communication logs for accuracy
• Provide support for Hamilton Booth Centre’s Harm Reduction Program

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in a related field
• Minimum of two years’ experience in supervision
• Non-violent crisis intervention certification preferred
• Valid Ontario class “g” driver’s license required
• Experience with diverse populations is an asset
