Role Summary: The Program Manager will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing various community engagement programs and initiatives, while collaborating within internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a crucial part in driving the successful delivery of programs and ensuring the company's research goals are met.

4. What are the key responsibilities?

Own strategizing, planning, and budget planning for Microsoft Research community initiatives and programs.

Collaborate with research stakeholders to align program objectives with business priorities.

Advise and guide the utilization of available technologies to deliver impactful program outcomes.

Build and execute community engagement programs to support organizational priorities and recruitment initiatives.





Foster a high-performing community culture with effective team collaboration and positive relationships with stakeholders.

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Affairs, Business, or a related field.

5-6 years of experience in program, event, and stakeholder management.

Strong cross-collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Technical curiosity and the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.

Proficiency in program planning, organizing, budgeting, and execution.

Audience and customer-focused mindset.

Independent judgment and decision-making abilities.

Self-starter with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Skills: PMI or PMP certification.
