SpatialOne is an established, small team of engineers and scientists building Stage², the foundational data infrastructure that enables engineering and science teams to deploy complex models and predictive workflows. We have already accomplished great things, but to meet growing demand, we are expanding our core development team.

We are seeking a Core Software Engineer to make a critical, immediate contribution to the heart of our platform. This role offers significant ownership, direct input, and the chance to contribute to foundational systems without the bureaucracy of a large organization.

What You Will Be Doing
Design and implementation of highly concurrent and distributed systems that power our core workflow execution engine.

Core Development
Collaboration & Self-Direction
Working in a small, agile team structure where you have significant control and input over the product roadmap and technical direction. We will provide guidance and oversight, but you won't be capped by a position hierarchy.

Full Lifecycle Ownership
Applying best practices in version control, design patterns, debugging, and testing to ensure the reliability of foundational technology.

"Nice-to-Have" Knowledge
Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud fundamentals
Understanding of different database types (relational, key-value, wide-column, document, blob, graph) and their appropriate use cases
Performance tuning and application performance monitoring
Familiarity with TypeScript or other scripting languages
Understanding of 3D rendering and visualization
Familiarity with OAuth and authentication standards
