CRB Supermarket is a locally owned grocery store in North West River, Labrador. It serves residents and visitors by offering a wide selection of fresh produce, fresh cut quality meats, dairy products, pantry staples, frozen foods, and household essentials in one convenient location. It also features the Riverside Restaurant, where customers can enjoy freshly prepared meals.

Riverside Restaurant is now seeking a qualified and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and staff performance.

Number of Positions: 1

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time position.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Wage: Hourly Rate Between $21.00 to $25.00 (To be negotiated)

Christmas Bonus;

Language of Work: English

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate restaurant operations;

Supervise and coordinate kitchen and front-of-house staff;

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations;

Recruit, train, and schedule employees;

Monitor sales performance and prepare reports;





Manage inventory and order supplies;

Resolve customer complaints and maintain service quality;

Develop marketing strategies to grow business;

Manage budgets and control costs;

Develop and maintain weekly, monthly activity to bring in more customers establishing a hub for community activities inside the restaurant;

Develop, maintain and manage current recipes to keep the menu exciting;

Develop daily specials, based on community customer needs so everyday has a certain meal planned which residents know will happen with consistency.

Qualifications:

Education: Secondary School Diploma

Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management

Strong leadership and communication skills;

Knowledge of food safety and health regulations;

Demonstrated ability to manage staff and operations efficiently.
