Provide essential administrative assistance to the FCSS management team as an Executive Assistant. Your organizational and communication skills will be pivotal for effective operations and improvement initiatives.
The Executive Assistant will support the Director of Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) in various administrative and governance tasks. This vital role involves managing calendars, prioritizing communications, and drafting key correspondence. You will facilitate interactions with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the efficient flow of information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the Director’s calendar and prioritize communications
• Draft, edit, and finalize reports and correspondence
• Research and follow up on sensitive issues
• Support the compilation of data for presentations and meetings
• Organize travel logistics and professional learning opportunities
Requirements:
• Two years' experience in a similar role
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration preferred
• Excellent skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Knowledge of First Nation concerns and culture valued
