Job Title: Manager, Sustainability Controls and Governance
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Duration: months
Daily Responsibilities:
Working with disclosure/content owners of Client’s Sustainability Report to review and assess the effectiveness of their controls to mitigate sustainability reporting risk.
Help educate and guide stakeholders to enhance their control setting and adhere to Client’s risk management policies and standards.
Report control findings / issues to senior management.
Must have skills:
Knowledge of risk and controls – fully risk management cycle including identification and remediations of control gaps and deficiencies.
University degree in a related field of study
Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), WebEx teams, and Sharepoint sites for verbal and written communications
Working knowledge/familiarity with Archer and Workiva ESG reporting would be ideal but not critical.
Nice to have skills:
Chartered Professional Accountant / Certified Internal Auditor designations
Certification / designation related to ESG and other Sustainability areas.
Knowledge / experience with ESG frameworks, rules, regulations – particularly those surrounding reporting and disclosures.
