Support clients in need as a Support Service Attendant with March of Dimes Canada in Newmarket. This part-time Personal Support Worker role is focused on empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently.

In this role, you will assist service users with activities of daily living and other personal care tasks while traveling to various locations. Responsibilities include providing lifts, meal preparation, and light housekeeping while ensuring a protected and respectful environment. Your work contributes to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with non-medical daily activities and personal care
• Perform lifts and transfers in a safe manner
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding




• Conduct range of motion exercises and light housekeeping
• Ensure privacy and respect client dignity at all times

Requirements:
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience with older adults or physical disabilities an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
