In this vital role, you will develop strength and conditioning programs for male and female athletes, ensuring alignment with Canada’s Athletic Development Model. You'll oversee training metrics, write detailed training plans, and contribute to the growth of club and youth sports initiatives. Your collaboration with coaches will drive athlete performance enhancements using the latest technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create year-round athletic training programs
• Conduct thorough athlete performance testing
• Supervise training plans and their execution
• Assist in youth sports program coordination
• Implement performance monitoring software tools
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required
• Three years’ experience in strength and conditioning
• CSCS and CPR/AED certifications mandatory
• Knowledge of national and university-level training demands
• Pass a criminal record and vulnerable sector check
