About the Role Our client, an events management company in Kimberley , is seeking a proactive Public Relations Coordinator to manage communication strategies for their diverse event portfolio. You will be responsible for promoting events, managing media relations, and ensuring positive public perception before, during, and after each event. This remote role requires excellent organizational skills and a knack for creating buzz and excitement around various gatherings and activations.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute PR plans for upcoming events, aiming to maximize attendance and media coverage.
Write and distribute press releases, event invitations, and promotional materials.
Coordinate media attendance and manage media accreditation for events.
Manage social media promotion for events, creating engaging posts and campaigns.
Liaise with event organizers, sponsors, and key stakeholders to ensure communication alignment.




Monitor event coverage and provide post-event reports on media impact and public reception.
Requirements 2-4 years of experience in public relations, event management, or marketing coordination.
Proven ability to plan and execute PR strategies for events.
Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with social media marketing and content creation for events.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple event timelines.
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or Event Management.
