:

- Ensure the safety and security of people, premises, and property.

- Monitor surveillance equipment and investigate alarms or disturbances.

- Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to enforce security policies.

- Control access to facilities by permitting or denying entry to authorized personnel.

- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the premises are secure and report any suspicious activities.

- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as necessary.

- Prepare and maintain reports on incidents, accidents, and other security-related matters.

- Ensure compliance with security procedures, regulations, and laws.

- Collaborate with law enforcement authorities as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid security guard license/certification.

- Robust observational and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.





- Basic knowledge of security systems and protocols.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and/or patrol for extended periods.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desired Experience:

- Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field preferred.

- Familiarity with emergency response procedures.

- Experience operating surveillance equipment.

- Knowledge of fire prevention and safety procedures.

- Experience in conducting investigations and writing incident reports.

- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
