Become the Community Engagement Manager for the St. Thomas-Elgin Local Immigration Partnership at YWCA. Focus on team-oriented project management and welcoming newcomers.

In this full-time position, you will spearhead efforts to enhance community support for immigrants through effective collaboration and strategic planning. The STELIP Manager will recruit and maintain partnerships, identify service barriers, and develop resources to empower newcomers in Elgin County. The role also includes advocating for equitable services and managing communication with partners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the Immigrant Partnership Council's activities
• Revise governance documents as required
• Advocate for newcomers at community tables




• Develop resources addressing systemic barriers
• Organize and promote networking events for newcomers

Requirements:
• Degree in Social Services or related field
• Familiarity with current immigration and social issues
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
