Join the Chan Laboratory within the Division of General Internal Medicine at UBC. The Research Assistant will provide vital technical and administrative support, ensuring accurate data entry and participant communications. Candidates should display initiative, accuracy, and strong organizational skills as they liaise with staff and maintain research protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter and verify study data in databases like Excel and REDCap
• Screen study forms for errors or omissions
• Communicate with participants through texts or emails
• Prepare and assemble study documents and materials
• Track research equipment, maintaining detailed logs
Requirements:
• High school graduation and two years relevant experience
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Familiarity with research ethics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Robust organizational and communication skills
