Join Sensity in Guelph, ON, as an Intervenor providing invaluable support for individuals who are deafblind. Help enhance their quality of life through effective communication and hands-on assistance.

As a full time Intervenor, your role will focus on ensuring that individuals with dual sensory impairments can live independently and engage fully in their everyday lives. You will implement communication strategies while offering personal care and day-to-day support. Training will be provided to help you succeed in this rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate communication techniques to share information
• Provide personal assistance, including hygiene and meal prep
• Support clients in achieving their objectives and goals




• Maintain thorough records and documentation
• Assist in developing meaningful programs for clients

Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in a related human services field
• Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Communication skills in ASL or SEE are essential
• Clean Class G driver’s license and vehicle access
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
