We are seeking an experienced Project Accountant capable of independent work in our Ottawa office. This role reports to the Finance Controller and requires expertise in subtrade claims, account reconciliations, and facilitating project closeouts. Proven construction project accounting experience is essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Control costs for multiple construction projects
• Process AP subtrade progress claims efficiently
• Review and submit Timesheets to the Payroll team




• Compile and submit monthly progress billings to clients
• Identify opportunities for process improvements

Requirements:
• Proven experience in construction project accounting
• Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
