Drive innovation at Sideshift as a Product Engineering Leader. This role focuses on marine propulsion systems, leading end-to-end project management with an onsite presence in Ontario.

At Sideshift, we are seeking a hands-on engineer with a passion for developing consumer-grade electromechanical products. In this pivotal role, you will engage in R&D;, spearhead design and prototyping, and take charge of our development processes from concept to launch. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll influence our technical roadmap and ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead product engineering and R&D; for propulsion systems
• Drive prototyping and validation of electromechanical products




• Oversee the stage-gate development process
• Manage projects, budgets, and technical resources
• Ensure scalability and manufacturability with stakeholders

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5–10 years in product engineering or R&D;
• Proven delivery of end-to-end physical products
• Knowledge of control systems and integration
• Familiarity with development frameworks
