CNC Programmer (5-Axis Mastercam)

We're hiring on behalf of a leading precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defence, medical device, robotics, renewable energy, and other highly regulated industries.

This is an opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer who enjoys challenging work, advanced machining, and working with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.

You'll play a key role in programming, optimizing, and supporting complex machining operations across a up-to-date manufacturing facility equipped with advanced 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam

- Program complex 5-axis machining operations

- Convert CAD data into efficient machining strategies

- Support setup personnel and machine operators

- Develop setup documentation and inspection sheets





- Design fixtures and work-holding solutions

- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

- Improve machining efficiency and cycle times

- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams

What We're Looking For

Required

- 3-5+ years of 5-axis CNC programming experience

- Strong Mastercam programming skills

- Experience with complex machined components

- Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies

- Blueprint reading and GD&T; proficiency

- Fixture and work-holding experience

- CAD/CAM experience

Strong Assets

- SolidWorks experience

- Fanuc controller experience

- Heidenhain controller experience

- Aerospace machining experience

- Medical device manufacturing experience

- Lean manufacturing exposure
