Review, process and approve employee timesheets in Workday for accuracy and completeness

Investigate and correct time-entry discrepancies, missing records and duplicates

Ensure compliance of time-tracking records and documentation with operating standards, HR policies, collective agreements, labour standards and tax legislation

Collaborate with Payroll and Operations on wage calculations, retroactive pay adjustments and payroll processing

Reconcile overtime, leave balances, holiday pay and shift differential earnings

Train and support employees and managers on timekeeping procedures and Workday navigation

Identify Workday timekeeping issues and improvement opportunities, escalating them with People Systems and Analytics

Collaborate with the HR Services Expertise Team on service date calculations, complex leave bank management and pay analysis

Provide administrative support, exercise independent judgment and occasionally coordinate the work of others

Requirements

Post-secondary education or equivalent practical experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, Payroll or administrative operations within CBC/Radio-Canada or similar complex organization

Essential fluency in both English and French, written and spoken

Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data management

Hands-on experience with pay processing systems, such as Workday

Robust knowledge of HR policies, collective agreements, and federal/provincial labour standards

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage several priorities and meet multiple, tight deadlines





Strong interpersonal skills with discretion, diplomacy, tact and absolute confidentiality

Sound judgment, initiative, analytical problem-solving abilities, and resourcefulness

Flexibility to work overtime as required during peak periods

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing

Successful candidates must complete a mandatory criminal record check; other background checks may be conducted based on operational requirements
