This leadership role requires hands-on mechanical expertise and supervisory skills as you guide mechanics and apprentices in a busy work environment. Key responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, performing diagnostics, and minimizing equipment downtime. You will play a crucial part in promoting safety compliance and maintaining effective workflow within the shop.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily shop operations and support staff
• Perform diagnostics and oversee equipment repairs
• Coordinate workflow to ensure operational efficiency




• Enforce safety policies and conduct hazard assessments
• Communicate with management regarding repair timelines

Requirements:
• Red Seal Truck/Transport Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment certification
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and diesel engines
• Previous supervisory experience in a shop
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, Class 1 or 3 an asset
