Join Kinark Child and Family Services as a Clinical Therapist in Aurora, Ontario, and support children and youth with complex needs. This full-time position focuses on evidence-based therapy and treatment planning.
Working within an interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Therapist will deliver essential mental health services in community and office-based settings. Responsibilities include conducting thorough clinical assessments, creating treatment plans, and overseeing therapy sessions tailored to individual and family needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering pro-social skills and supporting youth in managing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans
• Modify treatment strategies based on client needs
• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions
• Keep detailed progress notes related to treatment goals
• Collaborate with external partners and participate in meetings
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work or health discipline
• At least 3 years of relevant mental health experience
• Registration with Ontario College of Social Workers or Psychotherapists
• Strong assessment, formulation, and treatment planning skills
• Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s license
