Fraser Health is actively seeking a skilled Acute Care Neurosurgeon focusing on Spine, to enhance our surgical team across two hospitals. This position includes engagement with both Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospitals.

Ideal candidates will have completed a neurosurgery residency in Canada and have fellowship training in spine surgery. You will be part of a dedicated team, delivering exceptional neurosurgical care to our community. Participate in team-oriented initiatives and contribute to the University of British Columbia's medical education program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inpatient consultations and documentation
• Liaise with RCH trauma service on spinal cases
• Provide neurosurgical on-call coverage
• Perform surgeries on urgent inpatients
• Function as a surgical assistant during spinal operations

Requirements:
• Possess CMPA and CPSBC eligibility
• Hold an FRCSC designation
• Fellowship training in spine surgery is a plus
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Enthusiasm for medical education involvement
