Join GFL in Saskatoon as an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This position involves maintaining and repairing our fleet, including Hydrovac and Highway trucks, ensuring top performance.

As a Journeyman Mechanic at GFL, you'll work within the Fleet Maintenance division. Your key tasks involve diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and repair on various trucks and high-pressure pumps. Leadership experience is preferred as you'll collaborate closely with the Shop Foreman and Lead Hand ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and diagnostics on fleet equipment
• Repair mechanical systems including engines and hydraulic systems
• Test repaired equipment for operational efficiency




• Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs
• Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:
• Journeyman certificate in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment
• Class 5 Drivers License; 1A or 3A preferred
• Robust mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Experience with SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection Program is an asset
