Advance your career as a Robotics V&V; Engineer in Toronto, specializing in surgical technologies with a global OEM. This role emphasizes impactful contributions and cutting-edge approaches in V&V; processes.
In this position, you will drive the software validation and verification strategies for cutting-edge surgical robotic platforms. Your expertise will involve close collaboration with engineering groups underpinned by IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 frameworks. Expect to play a critical role in ensuring compliance and supporting regulatory audits and submissions with Health Canada and the FDA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead software V&V; strategy for surgical robotics • Develop test protocols and compliance reports • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams • Facilitate regulatory submissions and audits • Promote automation in V&V; and testing processes
Requirements: • Minimum 7 years of V&V; experience in surgical robotics • Strong understanding of IEC 62304, ISO 13485 requirements • Hands-on with complex robotic system testing • Knowledge of robotics, kinematics, and software • Bachelor’s or Master's in relevant engineering fields
