- Modernize an established Django and React web application while paying down technical debt
- Ship smaller, self-contained custom solutions directly to customers and own delivery end-to-end

Requirements

- 3–5 years building and maintaining production web applications
- Genuine depth in backend (Django/Django REST Framework, Python) or frontend (React, including React Query, TypeScript), with working competence in the other
- Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows and AI coding agents
- Ability to use SQL, queries, metrics, and models to investigate datasets and validate results
- Technical writing and design skills, including design documents, diagrams, and clear reasoning
- Experience building and deploying on a cloud stack; GCP preferred
- Experience with serverless services such as Cloud Run or Cloud Functions, service-to-service authentication, and cloud deployment pipelines
- Working understanding of RBAC, SSO, MFA/2FA, IAM,



and tier-based gating
- Comfortable modernizing a live codebase within an existing code-review and agile process
- Organized and process-oriented, with a strong grasp of the SDLC
- Experience with CI/CD, API telemetry/monitoring, and database design/denormalization
- Advantageous: technical demonstrations leading to technology adoption
- Advantageous: led or played a key role in designing a shipped project/system
- Advantageous: major framework version upgrades or large-module decomposition on a live production codebase
