As a critical member of the Automation - Foundations team, you'll lead the transition of Vanta’s data platform to a schema-aware architecture. You will ensure that customer integrations remain intact throughout the migration process while addressing complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the migration to a Postgres-backed solution
• Create architecture for reliable data processing and ingestion
• Enhance Query API functionality for external use
• Diagnose production issues in real-time data scenarios
• Provide mentorship to elevate engineering practices

Requirements:
• Proven track record in data architecture migrations
• Proficient in Kafka and queuing systems
• Solid experience in distributed data systems
• Familiar with AWS, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
