Prepare for and participate in meetings of the Board of Directors and its committees, including the preparation of preliminary agendas, executive summaries, supporting documents, and minutes
Follow up on decisions and actions resulting from Board and committee meetings
Provide legal advice and support regarding corporate law, governance, and privacy
Participate in corporate reorganization projects and ensure that relevant information is communicated to the parties involved
Ensure the development, updating, and maintenance of the Code of Conduct and related policies
Cooperate in investigations related to complaints received under the Code of Conduct or other corporate policies
Advise the organization on best practices in governance and monitor new market trends and requirements
Draft and update corporate regulations, policies, guidelines, and procedures
Serve as secretary of the Board at the annual meetings of affiliated companies
Participate in compliance initiatives related to the protection of personal information and the French language
Requirements Bachelor of Law
Member of the Quebec Bar or the bar association of another Canadian province
At least 7 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, in-house, or in a combination of both settings

Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) is required to facilitate ongoing collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec.
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in corporate law, governance, and compliance, with a strong ability to draft and update corporate regulations and policies. Bilingual in French and English, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders while maintaining high ethical standards and organizational rigor.
