Kewley Security is currently recruiting experienced Security Guards for high-volume concerts, festivals, and special events throughout Ontario.
We are specifically looking to strengthen our Crowd Management and Response Teams with guards who have a strong professional presence and are comfortable working in demanding, high-density event environments.
This is a physically demanding event-security role.
Successful applicants must be capable of safely performing duties that may include:
Maintaining secure crowd-control lines and restricted-access points
Working within large, tightly packed crowds
Assisting with crowd movement and emergency egress
Responding quickly to disturbances and physical altercations
Assisting other security personnel during controlled removals and ejections
Maintaining position when dealing with crowd pressure
Standing and walking for extended periods
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Remaining calm, professional, and assertive when dealing with intoxicated, aggressive, or non-compliant patrons
We Are Looking For
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate:
Strong command presence
Confidence working in front-line crowd-management positions
Previous concert, festival, nightclub, venue, or event-security experience
Experience with removals, ejections, crowd control, barricades, or response teams
Excellent situational awareness
The ability to communicate firmly and professionally
The ability to work effectively as part of a coordinated security team
Requirements
Smart Serve certification where required
Reliable transportation
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and extended event shifts
Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position safely, with accommodation in accordance with applicable law
These positions are intended for guards who are comfortable taking on front-line, high-contact crowd-management assignments.
