As a Child and Youth Care Worker, you will work directly with youth who have special needs in a nurturing group home environment. Your role will focus on behavioral support and goal-setting, fostering a culturally sensitive approach to care while ensuring well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth with emotional and mental health challenges
• Participate in individualized service planning
• Provide personal care and prepare meals for residents
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace
• Advocate for youth access to necessary services
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with youth in care
• Relevant certification or experience in support roles
• Valid BC driver’s license with a reliable vehicle
• First Aid certification and a TB test required
• Criminal Record Check and HUB clearance necessary
