Join School District 71 as a K-3 Teacher focusing on inquiry and blended learning in Quesnel, BC. Engage students through creative instruction and diverse learning methodologies.
This temporary position requires delivering face-to-face education while guiding students from Kindergarten to Grade 3 in a blended learning environment. The ideal candidate will effectively support diverse learning needs through collaborative teaching and project-based approaches in multi-grade classes. Experience with online resources and technology integration is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach face-to-face classes for up to 2.5 days weekly
• Design engaging learning experiences through inquiry-based methods
• Develop online resources for learner and family support
• Facilitate student learning workshops for parents
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum integration
Requirements:
• Training in online or blended learning methodologies
• Experience with experiential learning models
• Basic First Aid certification required
• Proficient in assessment practices for learning
• Experience with educational platforms like Seesaw and Google Classroom
