In this full-time position with the Liquid Waste Services Department, you will assist in data acquisition that underpins engineering studies. Your role will involve collaborating with project engineers, managing data storage, and performing statistical analyses that inform vital water management plans. Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and present sewer and water system data
• Conduct analyses for inflow and infiltration studies
• Operate and maintain hydraulic models for assessments
• Assist with technical design work of medium complexity
• Develop effective relationships with government and consultants
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering and experience
• Understanding of municipal engineering and hydrology
• Familiarity with statistical methods and analysis software
• Capability to work independently and maintain relationships
• Valid Driver's Licence for British Columbia
