MCG Careers is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Employer Advantage team in Calgary Downtown as a Content Developer.

About the Employer Advantage Program
The Employer Advantage Program works directly with employers to provide 1:1 support, guiding them through employment services and connecting them with the right resources. Our Employer Advantage Consultants provide employers with practical support, including HR tools, templates, and expert advice on hiring, workplace policies, and leadership development.

What You’ll Bring
- Diploma or degree in communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, or a related field Experience in adult learning, career development, or social services
- Demonstrated experience in content creation for web and social platforms
- Robust writing and editing skills
- Experience translating complex information into plain language resources
- Working knowledge of content management systems and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
- Familiarity with inclusive employment or workforce development contexts is an asset
- Able to manage multiple deadlines, take initiative, and work independently while staying aligned with program goals and audience needs
- Collaboration – you can work closely with a team to support overall program goals
- Strong problem-solving skills
What You’ll Do
- Work collaboratively in a team setting to create clear, engaging, andemployercentred content that supports the Employer Advantage Program across digital and print platforms
- Develop labour market content, including monthly newsletters, reports, articles, blogs, and workforce trend updates to support employers
- Create and maintain digital content for the website, employer resource library, webinars, training materials, and online learning resources
- Produce content that promotes inclusive hiring, workplace accessibility, and effectiveemployerengagement, including toolkits, guides, success stories, training materials, and promotional assets
- Support content planning through basic digital analytics, tracking engagement trends, and recommending improvements to increase reach and usability
- Work collaboratively withEmployerAdvantage staff to identify content needs, gather subject matter input, and translate program information into accessible, practical resources for employers
