Enhance Kingston’s parking operations as a GIS Parking Data Specialist. Utilize spatial analyses and technology integration to improve parking management decisions.

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Parking Operations and serve as the subject matter expert in GIS and data analytics. Your responsibilities will include developing the City’s parking geodatabase and ensuring the integration of various data sets, supporting strategic decision-making for parking supply and pricing strategies. This position supports critical transportation demand initiatives and empowers the broader Parking Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance the City’s parking mapping environment
• Conduct GIS-based utilization and demand analysis studies




• Compile and analyze data for reporting purposes
• Liaise with Corporate GIS/Planning teams for project success
• Prepare regular statistical and financial reports

Requirements:
• Proven expertise in GIS and data analytics
• Minimum years of relevant experience in spatial data management
• Knowledge of parking system technologies
• Solid reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and technical proficiency
