Pac Rim Distribution is hiring a drivers helper for local delivery work on Vancouver Island.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to regularly lift up to 45 lbs Bondable (able to pass a background check) Strong communication skills and customer service mindset WORKING DAYS: Week days to suit operational requirements SHIFT HOURS: 8 hours per day. 24 hours per week Wed Fri REASON FOR THIS POSITION : Replacing previous swamper DESCRIBE DUTIES: As per job description, other preference includes: This is a fully local delivery position operating in The Victoria and Greater Victoria region typically involving multi-stop routes (approximately 8-15 stops per day).

Responsible for assisting the driver for completing deliveries end-to-endensuring freight is handled safely, efficiently, and professionally at every stop.

Your day will typically involve a mix of: Palletized deliveries using proper unloading techniques Hand-cart deliveries directly into customer locations Regular interaction with customers at delivery points This is not a drop-and-go positionyoull be bringing product into customer locations, not leaving it at the curb.
