Tarleton State University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Mechanical and Civil Engineering courses at its Stephenville campus for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Successful candidates will prepare and deliver lectures, develop course materials, and assess student performance while supporting their academic growth. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures, seminars, and labs to undergraduate and graduate students




• Develop course syllabi and select instructional materials
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Foster critical thinking and engage students in active learning
• Hold office hours and offer academic guidance to students

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Industry experience beneficial
