Fortinet seeks a skilled Embedded Software Developer to enhance our FortiGate firewall features. Bring your C programming expertise to drive innovative solutions in our Unified Threat Management system.

In this role, you will leverage your 3+ years of experience in C/C++/Golang/Rust to implement and maintain software that powers our TLS stack. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, utilizing best coding practices while exploring recent developments in application-layer protocols. Your contributions will be vital in improving existing products and suggesting insightful enhancements based on hands-on usage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain software for TLS stack and UTM features
• Research new technology areas to enhance products




• Suggest product improvements from practical experience
• Stay updated on application-layer protocol developments
• Promote best coding and design practices within the team

Requirements:
• 3+ years in C/C++/Golang/Rust development
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience in Linux or UNIX-like environments
• Knowledge of TLS, TCP/IP, and socket programming
• Familiarity with Git or similar source control systems
