Lead The Salvation Army's 2026 Christmas kettle campaign in Chilliwack. Coordinate staff, engage volunteers, and maximize donations while adhering to mission values.
This seasonal contract role is tasked with overseeing all components of the Christmas kettle fundraising effort. You'll work collaboratively with a small team and promote campaign awareness through various channels, including community engagement and social media. Responsibilities include recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining supplies at kettle locations, and providing post-campaign support to ensure ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all aspects of the Christmas kettle campaign
• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers and staff
• Promote the campaign through outreach and social media
• Ensure kettles and supplies are well-maintained
• Provide appreciation to donors and volunteers
Requirements:
• High School diploma required
• Experience in customer service is an asset
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft software
• Ability to manage relationships and follow safety protocols
