Position Summary
We are seeking a Physician (FP/ER) to join our team and provide Emergency Room coverage at Dawson Creek and District Hospital. The Emergency Room sees 22,000+ visits per year and is covered by Family Physicians in the community and one other full time FP/ER Physician. Hours and shifts are negotiable; office and other hospital work also available.
About Dawson Creek and District Hospital Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full-service community hospital providing services to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Services include:
24/7 emergency
ICU
Medical and surgical in-patient care
Diagnostics and Medical imaging with CT
Orthopedic surgery
General surgery
Day surgery
Respiratory therapy
Diabetic education
