Embark on a fulfilling journey with PRT as a full-time Grower 2 at our Vernon, BC nursery, starting March 2027. This role is integral to producing effective forest seedlings.

As a Grower 2, you will engage in essential nursery practices aimed at high-quality seedling production. Candidates should have a desire for continuous learning, the ability to work independently, and flexibility for weekend shifts. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate climate control and irrigation systems
• Monitor seedling health and maintain records
• Train seasonal staff on nursery practices
• Conduct insect and disease inspections
• Clean and maintain irrigation equipment

Requirements:
• Background in nursery environments
• Familiarity with greenhouse equipment
• Driver’s License and reliable transport
• Communicative and organizational skills
• Physical capability for extensive work hours
