Support vital speech and language services at the Battlefords Community Health in North Battleford as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. Your role will focus on augmentative communication aids for clients.
In this casual position, you’ll need a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant diploma and strong interpersonal and organizational abilities. Responsibilities include assisting with speech-language support and programming communication systems, working independently or collaboratively as needed. A flexible schedule is key, as you will be required for short shifts and possibly needs on holiday periods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in providing speech and audiology support
• Program and build augmentative communication systems
• Work both independently and within a team
• Respond to needs for short notice shifts
• Effectively support special needs clients
Requirements:
• Diploma in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SPLA)
• Possession of a valid driver's license if required
• Minimum availability for 1-4 days per week
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
