Take on a pivotal role as a part time Research and Outreach Project Coordinator with UBC’s Queer Trans Centre for Radical Praxis. Provide administrative, communications, and event support to promote inclusive research and community engagement.
This part-time position is essential to the success of the interdisciplinary research cluster led by Jasbir Puar and Ervin Malakaj. You will coordinate events, maintain timelines, manage communications, and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and impactful outreach. Your skills in organization and administration will be vital to connecting UBC with its students and local community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for events and programs
• Organize and coordinate logistics for meetings
• Maintain project timelines, budgets, and contact lists
• Update and manage the project website
• Assist with communications and partner relations
Requirements:
• High School graduation and four years of relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe software
