This role requires a proactive approach to undertaking maintenance and emergency services within Milton Hydro's evolving electrical systems. Reporting to the Supervisor of Operations, you’ll be responsible for live line work and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in the dynamic Ontario energy sector. Engage with the community and provide training to apprentices, enhancing their future in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems
• Install and operate overhead and underground equipment




• Work safely in substations and perform emergency power restoration
• Conduct inspections and sign-off on verification programs
• Participate in safety meetings and training initiatives

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Power Line Technician credential
• Knowledge of Electric Utility Safety Rules
• Class DZ driver’s license in valuable standing
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
