Assist producers and marketers with all aspects of servicing commercial accounts
Meet existing clients’ needs and process documentation, including Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Renewals, Proposals, Endorsements, In-House Policies, Invoicing, Finance Contracts, and Customer Correspondence
Review policy documentation from insurers for accuracy before forwarding to clients
Contact clients for renewal information
Take client calls and answer coverage questions
Accept and process online quotes
Negotiate with insurers on coverage and price in conjunction with the producer
Update client information as changes occur
Answer account-related questions and requests from clients, lawyers, and banks
Provide policy and coverage information to clients
Support the floater position through minimal but regular duties
Work closely with Commercial account Producers and Marketers to build long-term client relationships
Requirements Level 2 Insurance License
1 year of commercial insurance experience considered an asset
1 year of general insurance industry experience considered an asset
Industry designation considered an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, or General Insurance and Risk Management Diploma, BCIT)
Highly self-directed with a strong sense of urgency and ability to manage own workload
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Commitment to established processes, policy, and compliance requirements




Collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to a diverse team
Strong customer service focus
Clear and credible written and verbal communication
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Successful background check required
Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
